One of the rooms at Irish Theatre Institute

No 17 provides necessary work space for Irish companies and artists to write, rehearse, conduct production meetings and present readings, and for guests from abroad visiting Ireland to see the work of Irish theatre-makers.

In addition to these facilities ITI offers well maintained and comfortable facilities for use by theatre makers and companies at favourable rates. Rooms are used for audition/casting sessions, board meetings, interviews, small seminars, play readings, rehearsals, project development sessions, staff away days and training sessions; small seminars, book and event launches and receptions. Subsidised 'hotdesks' for short term projects can be considered. Users include theatre production companies, individual theatre artists, casting directors, film and TV producers as well as cultural organisations, local businesses and nationally-based organisations.

Hire rates are on a sliding scale based on the circumstances of the users e.g: individual artists or unsubsidised companies; subsidised production companies/venues/networks; film/TV companies; cultural organisations; registered Charities. Rates include WiFi access, tea and coffee making facilities and, on request, use of the in-house projector/screen.

The first floor room can accommodate up to 16 in board meeting style configuration and 25 with theatre style seating. We also have smaller rooms available which are ideal for breakout sessions or sidebar meetings. Rooms are available during ITI’s opening hours of 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

ITI provides rooms, free of charge, for companies to hold production meetings in advance of presenting their work in the Dublin Fringe Festival. If your company is producing a show in the Dublin Fringe programme please contact Leigh Hussey (Programme Coordinator) at to book a room.
